Terms of use

This agreement sets the rules for using the website https://l2arteas.com, the Arteas launcher and the Lineage II game server “Arteas” (together — the “Service”, the project — the “Project”). By signing up on the website, creating a game account or entering the game, the user fully accepts this agreement.

The game is free. Paid features are covered by a separate document — the “Terms and refund policy”. Personal data processing — by the “Privacy policy”.

The Service may be used from the age of 14; under 18 — with the consent of parents or legal guardians.

The main website account is used to sign in to the website and the launcher; game accounts are created in it on the account page. The user provides a valid email of their own and is responsible for keeping passwords safe. Actions taken from an account are considered actions of its owner.

Accounts, characters and in-game items may not be sold, bought or transferred for real money. The Project does not restore accounts or items lost because a password was shared with others.

Characters, items and in-game currency are not the user's property: the Project grants the right to use them on the Arteas server under its rules.

Prohibited: bots, cheats, third-party programs and macros outside the client; abusing game bugs (a found bug must be reported in a ticket); playing in more windows than allowed in game; selling accounts and in-game items for real money.

Prohibited: insults, threats, racism, spam and flood in game, on the website and on Discord; advertising other servers and communities; names that impersonate staff (Admin, GM, Moderator, Support, Arteas and the like).

Prohibited: attempts to hack, overload or disrupt the Service, tampering with client or launcher data, bypassing protection and restrictions.

For violations the Project may: warn, restrict chat, remove what was obtained unfairly, temporarily or permanently ban a game account, the main account, a computer or an IP address. The staff choose the penalty according to the violation.

Items, currency and paid features of a banned account are not refunded or compensated. A decision can be appealed via an “Appeal” ticket on Discord.

The Service is provided “as is”. The Project strives to keep it running, but maintenance, outages and data rollbacks are possible; the Project is not liable for losses caused by them.

The Project may change game mechanics, balance, items and rules, and may wipe progress, with notice on the website and Discord.

Lineage II is a trademark of NCSOFT Corporation. The Project is not affiliated with NCSOFT; the original game materials belong to their right holders.

The Project may change this agreement; a new edition takes effect when published on this page. By continuing to use the Service, the user accepts the new edition.
